OLATHE, Kan. — An Olathe wholesale warehouse that normally supplies retailers is opening its doors directly to the public for a limited-time fall and Halloween sale beginning Tuesday.
The Gerson Companies, a longtime supplier of seasonal decorations, gifts and home décor, is holding its Fall & Halloween Warehouse Sale from Oct. 20 through Oct. 31.
The sale begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday and gives shoppers a chance to browse merchandise directly inside the company’s warehouse rather than through a traditional retail store. The hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Gerson is expected to offer fall and Halloween decorations, seasonal merchandise and gifts during the sale. Because the company operates as a wholesaler, the event gives local shoppers access to merchandise in a setting that is different from a typical store.
The company has held warehouse sales in previous years, so this is not a first-time event, but it remains an unusual shopping opportunity for Olathe residents looking for seasonal décor and gifts.
Inventory can change as the sale continues, and shoppers may want to go earlier if they are looking for the widest selection.
The sale runs through Halloween, Oct. 31.
Shoppers should use the warehouse-sale entrance rather than the company’s main office entrance.
Gerson Companies is located at 1450 S. Lone Elm Road in Olathe. Warehouse-sale shoppers should park on the east side of the complex and enter through Dock Door 53.
