Pizza lovers, this is some good news! Pizza Tascio has officially opened its first Olathe location at 1485 E. 151st St., near 151st Street and Ridgeview Road, taking over the former Curry in a Hurry space. The new restaurant opened Aug. 17 and brings Pizza Tascio’s popular New York-style pizza a little closer to home for south Olathe residents.

Pizza Tascio got its start in 2021 and has since expanded around the Kansas City area. The Olathe restaurant is its second Johnson County location, joining the Pizza Tascio at 119th and Metcalf in Overland Park. The restaurant specializes in hand-tossed, deck-oven New York-style pies, and you don’t have to order a whole pizza — slices are available, too.

For those of us who already love Pizza Tascio, having one right here in Olathe is a welcome addition to the neighborhood restaurant scene. The new location is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. So if you’ve wondered what all the talk is about, you no longer have to drive to Overland Park to find out — Pizza Tascio is now open in Olathe!
