West Olathe has a new option for walk-in medical care.
CareNow Urgent Care – Olathe West has opened at 255 S. Parker St., with a grand-opening celebration and ribbon cutting held Monday, Aug. 24.
The new facility is about 3,700 square feet and is designed to handle non-emergency medical needs without an appointment, including common illnesses, minor injuries, physicals and other routine urgent-care services.
The Parker Street location is CareNow’s third Olathe facility, adding another choice for residents on the west side of the city who may otherwise have had to travel farther east for urgent care.
The project had been moving through Olathe’s development process for months, but this week marks the transition from construction project to open business.
The new clinic is located at 255 S. Parker St., Olathe, near the Santa Fe corridor.
For residents, the opening means another option for same-day care when a regular doctor’s office is unavailable — but the situation does not require a trip to the emergency room.
